I am pleased to bring to our community my teacher and now mentor
the beloved Fr.Joe Pereira this Fall. Fr.Joe Pereira has been with Guruji
B.K.S. Iyengar for the last 42 years, and besides being very senior in his
practice and in the lineage of Iyengar Yoga teachers is also a close friend
of Guruji Iyengar.
Fr.Joe is also founder and director of Kripa Foundation, in India. Which
runs 59 drugs addiction and alcoholism centres in over 14 cities in India.
Kripa uses a heavy focus of yoga in the new 'Kripa Foundation Iyengar
Yoga program for drugs, alcohol, addictions and HIV/AIDS.
In Milwaukee we are expanding the vision of Fr.Joe's addiction work, and
have a fully NOT FOR PROFIT 501 (c) (3) status with our US organization
KripaUS here in Milwaukee.
All proceeds to these events to benefit the charity work of Kripa in India
and Kripa in Milwaukee, USA

Preference will be given to Santosh Yoga and supporters of Kripa Foundation Iyengar Yoga and Iyengar Yoga - Teachers and Students.

The day long encounter includes lectures by author and Jungian psychoanalyst Dr. Ashok Bedi on Health and Harmony, Yoga encounters with Yoga Master Bryant Mascarenhas and an Ayurvedic afternoon meal prepared by the well known Chef Usha Bedi.
